  • Ombre Powder Brows (Microshading) - Do I qualify for this procedure?
    Clients who have any of these listed contraindications are not a candidate for microshading: Under 18 years of age Pregnant or nursing Diseases, infections, or transmittable blood conditions Susceptible to scarring and keloids Problematic skin and acne directly on brow area Diabetes, high blood pressure, heart problems and other related medical illnesses that may cause your inability to heal properly from wounds (doctor’s note required) Any other serious medical illnesses must be approved by a doctor with a note
  • Ombre Powder Brows (Microshading) - What do I do before?
    24-72 hours before your appointment: No working out (24 hrs prior) No blood thinners such as caffeine, tea, energy drinks, aspirin, ibuprofen, alcohol, etc. (48-72 hours prior) 1 week before: Exfoliate the brow area 1 week before your appointment to help prep the skin for easier application of ink pigmentation 4 weeks before: No tweezing, threading and waxing (we want to use as much of your natural hair growth as possible) No Retinol and Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) products (avoid after as well until brows are fully healed) No brow dye or tint No tanning No chemical peels, microdermabrasion, harsh facials and skin treatments 2 months before: No Botox and fillers near brow area No brow dye or tint No cosmetic enhancements and surgeries near area (must be fully healed)
  • Ombre Powder Brows (Microshading) - What do I do after the procedure?
    12 hours after the procedure: It is completely normal for the treated skin to ooze lymph fluid. Use a cotton pad or clean tissue to gently blot the fluid to prevent infection and scabbing. First week after your procedure Wash your face every day and every night with a mild cleanser to remove bacteria and dead skin. Use a Q-tip to apply aftercare moisturizer to your brows every day. Come in for your touch-up 6-8 weeks after the procedure: The healing process after this second session will be similar but less intense
